Well, it's almost a plot twist, because last week the true identity of Yatsume was exposed by today's episode's preview. This episode is called "The Eighth Truth" or "Yatsume no Shinjitsu".

Now that makes even more sense why Ouga called herself "Yatsume" as she is the eighth member to join Kara,

Well, she practically didn't have a reason to be in the running that long as a side character, so there must have been more to her character to be alive for that long was the vibe she was giving throughout this arc. Also, her motive for changing her hair color while others were sharing their reasons to stay alive was also a tell. In that standpoint, she felt pretty weak to be kept alive for that sole reason; especially since this is a shinobi world. Like, what does that say for other side characters that came before her? "Oh, if I make it out alive, I guess I'll dye my hair." That just felt weak to me compared to others. I just didn't know which direction it was going to take her at the time. I did like the fact that she was crushing on Boruto throughout the entire time, but I would have picked Batta over her to stay in the running.

I saw it coming since episode 279.

I guess. I never trusted her so it wasn't a shock imo, figured she was one of Ouga's underlings though.

Impressed by Yatsume as another Kara member and that she never had real malice like others as deepa, boro, delta... She was an assistant girl to amado and wanted to find the will to live and Boruto helped her it was wholesome! And the animation was very decent and consistent for these episodes with ample color shades giving depth to their faces! The nebula space background when the lair crumbled down was beautiful as a background to Boruto and Yatsume! December 25, 2022

I mean this was a nice little side arc I like that they still connected it to the Kara. Everything is always connected whether its filler or not.

Everyone was underestimating Boruto and here they came up with the 8th inner of Kara, nice plot twist
I hope Sasuke's story will be nice too

Its gets pretty good, theyre currently still releasing the manga for Sasuke's story, theyre on chapter 5 at the moment

I disagree. My theory is that she could be one of boruto's other teammates if anything boruto went rogue like sasuke did. the reason of boruto going dark is cuz of boruto episode 1 when he is fighting with kawaki.

THAT ending was Soo sweet to this story!!! 😍 I instantly knew that was Jigen's lair from the fireplace and chairs! Yatsume as Ouga AND an inner who knew Jigen, that was amazing! She was pretty and loved when she blushed at Boruto after he told her to find a dream that will stir her heart, restored her will to live, which helped me too! Poor Rokuro captured again but at least he had this experience with Boruto
And the Sasuke Story will begin next year January!! Excited but not so much for the dinosaurs... except new opening from Asian Kungfu Generation is super exciting!!!
